Cabbage pie recipe | Easy, healthy and cheap!

Ingredients:

For dough:
flour - 120 g
sour cream - 150 g
eggs - 2
salt - 2/3 tsp
sugar - 1 tsp
baking powder - 10 g

For filling:
cabbage - 300 g
onions - 1
carrots - 1
garlic - 1-2 cloves (optionally)
salt - to taste
black pepper - to taste
thyme* - ½ tsp
vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp
butter - 20-30 g

*Note: You can use your favorite spices instead

For topping:
White sesame seeds

📝Instructions:
Prepare a springform and preheat the oven to 180°C
Make the filling:
Saute the chopped onion in preheated oil+butter for about 2-3 min
Add the grated carrot and saute for 4-5 min
Add the shredded cabbage and mix
Add salt, minced garlic (optionally), black pepper and thyme (or other favorite spices)
Saute for about 8-10 min stirring frequently

Make the dough:
Place sour cream, salt, sugar, half of the flour in a bowl and mix
Add eggs and mix well
Add the rest of the flour and the baking powder. Mix well

Pour half of the dough into a springform
Spread the filling on the batter
Pour the rest of the batter onto the filling
Sprinkle with sesame seeds
Bake for 25-30 min
