US journalist Evan Gershkovich will go on trial inRussia on espionage charges, Russian prosecutors have said.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reporter has beenaccused of collecting "secret information" from aRussian tank factory on behalf of the CIA.
The prosecutors have said he will stand trial in a courtin Yekaterinburg - the city in the Urals he was arrestedin last March while covering the war in Ukraine.
Mr Gershkovich, 32, denies the charges, while the WSJdismissed the forthcoming trial as a "sham".
The US considers the reporter to be "wrongfully detained".
