Barbie and Friends | Richard Sherwood as Romeo: Early 15th Century Costume

My own art doll, Richard Sherwood, models an outfit I made for him based on the one worn by Leslie Howard in Romeo and Juliet, 1936, an American film adapted from William Shakespeare's play, directed by George Cukor. The doublet is silk velvet embroidered with gold and silk thread, the shirt is silk, and the leggings are wool Jersey, also embroidered on one side. His half boots are also made of velvet.
