The black currents are ripe

The first harvest of black currants in our garden. Today I picked almost a pound of blackcurrants. We will freeze these berries for winter use. This is a common practice in our rural life. Stock up for the winter. In the summer, when we garden, we eat a lot of fresh berries from the garden. But in winter this is not possible. That's why we stock up.
