BLADE Reboot Turmoil | Marvel Replacing ANOTHER Director

Marvel has been having a difficult time getting their upcoming Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali off the ground and now they’re going to be replacing the director for a second time.

It was announced nearly 5 years ago that Mahershala Ali would be playing the titular character Blade, but since then the production has been going through many difficulties. Marvel Studios already replaced the director once and there were reports of extensive re-writes. Supposedly early drafts of the script had the character of Blade reduced to a fourth lead with female characters being the primary focus. This almost got star Mahershala Ali to walk away from the project. He is still attached to the project officially, but many are speculating he will walk away, especially since he has been cast in an upcoming Jurassic World movie.
