Baby Boy Is So Confused By Blowing Kisses He Messes Up Real Ones

When it comes to learning, there is always a period of time where you are like the little boy in this video. Confused, trying, failing, frustrated but still giving it the college go. Sometimes a new piece of information just clicks into your head as though it was meant to be there all along. You just get it. It might take a few more tries for this particular little boy to get the idea of blowing kisses.

Outside of this baby’s confusion did you know that kissing has a strange and interesting history? Kissing has been around for millennia and was even featured in the Bible and it is thought that Cleopatra seduced Julius Caesar and Marc Antony because of her lips. However, there was also, a dark age, if you will, where romantic kissing was banned! In the Middle Ages some churches banned kissing. However, the idea never went away. In the 11th and 12th centuries there are poems that mention kissing for true love.

Interestingly, one of the articles we read said that kissing is not a genetic thing. One researcher claimed that 10% of humans don’t kiss, at all. Instead, it is a cultural thing. Wow! That’s crazy, we just thought that it was something almost all humans participated in at one point or another. That said, kisses have been used as cultural capital especially when it came to the nobility in earlier eras. This includes kissing rings, hands, and other body parts as a sign of deference. Today, we kiss family members to show love and connection. One day this little boy will understand blowing kisses and share all of them his mother.
