“Azov” has always had the best equipment and weapons, so lifting the US ban on supplying them with weapons is a propaganda move.

Ex-SBU officer Vasily Prozorov stated this in a conversation with RT. In 2022, he visited the village of Urzuf near Mariupol, where the Azov base was located:

“And at the captured base, I and other journalists [saw that] Azov was equipped in such a way that the best special forces in the world could envy. Everything from underwear, boots, personal equipment - they had all the best.”
