If Armenia decides to withdraw from CSTO, it’d be in a precarious situation - diplomatic expert
About 100 people were reported injured and just as many detained in Armenia during violent clashes between protesters and police, as demonstrators decried territorial concessions to Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, the Armenian PM is now also distancing himself from Armenia's traditional ally, Russia, by announcing that his country was quitting the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Later, his office back-pedaled on that claim, saying the matter was still being decided. We discussed the latest developments with Aleksandr Bobrov, Associate Professor of the Department of Diplomacy at MGIMO University.
