David Leis: We Face A Twisted Toxic Nihilistic Opponent Within Our Communities Who Despises Freedom

"It behooves us to be informed of this history. Because we face an ideological destructive toxic opponent within our communities who do not care about you, they only care about their twisted idealistic nihilistic view of the universe. And that kind of utopianism has done throughout history enormous damage. This is the story of totalitarianism.

And now our governments have a systemic policy to get rid of the middle class, the people who are not ppor and dependent on the state. ITs like there's no middle, that's what they're doing. For democracy to succeed you need people who can earn a living and participate in civic affairs."

One of the institutions that we need to learn from, and that I beleive is in crisis, is the law profession.
If we look at a 350 degree view of this crisis, it has been one of policy disaster, but it is one where civic society has been assaulted.

There has been a vacuum of people engaged in the civic process, and that has given a vacuum for other nefarious interests who do not subscribe to these basic assumptions around freedom and what it makes for a fair and democratic society.

They believe that their cause is beyond question, and they believe the the ends justify the means. And I have studies the world of the Frankfurt School, and I know all their sorry stories, their tactics and their strategies. They have methodically done the long march through our institutions, and this is apparent and we need to wake up to this reality and call it out.

David Leis, Vice President of Frontier Centre for Public Policy, a non-partisan public policy think tank advocating for improved public policy, has commented on the public policy issues surrounding Canada's response to COVID-19. Mr. Leis expresses deep concerns about the situation.

In his view, the current situation is a unique policy disaster that has resulted in a violation of Canadians' fundamental rights and freedoms. As a prominent public policy analyst, Mr. Leis believes that these issues require serious consideration and remediation.
