Cocktails With Syco316 #2: My Own Creation - F*** Love(or Love Stinks) - A Valentines Day Special

Approximately 3 years ago I decided to ironically make a Valentines Day cocktail. Originally I was thinking of a chocolate & strawberries drink, but settled on strawberries & cream. Moving from Bailey's Irish Cream to whipped cream vodka because the Bailey's would break down in the cocktail and would make the drink look gross. I also went from strawberry soju to strawberry soaked moonshine to finally settling on strawberry Vodka. The drink was too plain and single dimensional so the addition of lime juice to perk up the drink and enhance the strawberry as well as some Angostura bitters to make it a little more complex founded it out. It's still a work in progress, but I think it is ready to share. Make and drink it for it's intended purpose of Valentine's Day sucking or Rim the glass with red or pink sugar and ironically use it unironically as a treat for your significant other over Valentines Day dinner or dessert.

F*** Love (or Love Stinks if you wanna be PG13 about it)
1 bar spoon strawberry liqueur
1.5 oz Vodka
.5 oz whip cream vodka
.5 oz strawberry vodka
.5 oz or 1 small lime juiced
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Top off with strawberry soda
strawberry garnish

Add everything but the soda into a Boston shaker with ice. Shake to chill and strain into a highball glass with ice. Garnish with strawberry and optional straw. Rimming glass with pink or red sugar is also optional.
