Topwater Toad Fishing

Fishing with a hollow body popping frog is one of my favorite ways to bass fish using a top-water technique. Recently, I added a different Toad to my top-water tool box and it is working well. If you haven't tried a Zman GOAT ToadZ topwater lure you may be missing out. Rick has been using one for some time and I finally purchased some myself and have not been disappointed. It is a great lure that is extremely durable. It is even durable enough to handle a gator bite and still return to catch bass. Some people in the fishing industry will tell you that this doesn't take the place of a hollow body frog, but in my opinion, there are enough overlapping circumstances that if you are kayak fishing with limited storage space, you can fish these in almost every situation you would fish a hollow body frog and more. Don’t get me wrong, I am not getting rid of my hollow body frogs. I am just encouraging you to try something different if you enjoy top-water fishing. Thanks for watching!
