While listening to Dogman Encounters, I first became acquainted with the notion that ambient noises in the forest completely cease upon the looming appearance of a Dogman. In Episode 103 it was stated that cricket noises stopped when a Dogman was around. In fact, even around a kill left alone there were no cricket noises to be heard as delineated on the Dogman Encounters web page for Jackson County, Kansas.
