Dogman reportedly have a putrid smell. Some have indicated smells resembling
acidic urine like ammonia, or putrid blood or freshly split blood, a dead animal smell, or
decaying meat, or like a Ferret cage at a pet store. Even a fishy smell, or a fresh deer kill. Some have said a hay smell, or a musky wet dog smell. Others have said like poop or feces. Then there are those who say a pungent river bottom smell, or rancid trash, ripe guts, a rotten dog, sewage or even Sulfur or a swamp. That’s because it probably drinks water from eddies with Sulfur on the surface, like that found in Sulfur Springs, TX. Sulfur gives humans headaches, however animals bath in Sulfur to keep away bloodsuckers.
