Courageous Mechanic-Driver "Grisha" of the RF Nominated for a State Award

In this footage, a serviceman of the West group of forces with the call sign “Grisha” evacuates his MTLB combat vehicle from the battlefield after being hit by an enemy FPV drone. Before it was knocked out, the “moto-league” was able to deliver infantry to land. Having assessed the situation, “Grisha” makes a desperate attempt to evacuate the vehicle from the battlefield so that it does not fall to the enemy.

Drone footage shows the flames flaring up and then dying out. At speed, dirt from a muddy field road flies out from under the tracks and extinguishes the flames.

For courage and bravery in performing a combat mission, the mechanic-driver of the multi-purpose transporter MTLB with the call sign “Grisha” was nominated for a state award by the command of the combined arms army of the “West” group of forces.
