#48 Dr. John Streukens

Dr. John Streukens has spent over 3 decades providing treatment services to individuals, couples, and groups with Psychological & Substance Use Disorders. He has come to appreciate that every individual gets to make their choices; some gain recovery & some don’t. Paramount to the process is to be respectful, non-judgmental, and allow the individual to decide their recovery path based upon the best recommendations and resources available. His ability for compassionate understanding and directive dialogue comes from years of experience.

John is also an expert in clinical psychodiagnostic assessment. He has conducted well over 5000 assessments in this area and continues to enjoy this work. Beyond this, Dr. Streukens is a contract instructor at two universities and provides instruction in Psychopathology, Life Span Development, Personality, Theory of Counseling, and Intro to Psychology. He is also engaged in providing clinical consulting services with First Responder organizations.
