The Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, has long fascinated people, often leading to speculation about alien involvement.

However, archeologists faced limitations in exploring certain sections of the 4,500-year-old structure, with some areas being too small for humans.

In 1993, a mysterious “blocking stone” in the Queen’s Chamber was discovered, but the technology to explore it properly was lacking.

In 2011, researchers created a robot, part of ‘The Djedi Project,’ to investigate the shaft, which measures 20cm by 20cm and extends 60 meters at a 40-degree angle.

Led by the University of Leeds and supported by Dassault Systèmes, the international team spent five years developing the lightweight, 5kg robot, UNILAD has reported.
