Armi Galesi Model 503-B 22 Long pistol review. Based upon the design of the Browning 1906, the Italian-made Galesi 503-B was produced in 22 Short, 22 Long, 22LR and 25 Auto. This one was made in 1965 and is an excellent example of the well-made little Galesi pocket pistols. There were many variations of the Galesi pistols produced. This specific Galesi 503-B is chambered in the antiquated 22 Long round making it a little unusual. But the 22 Long round is still available and relatively inexpensive. While there are some reports of feeding problems, Galesi pistols in general enjoy a good reputation for their attractive looks, exceptional quality, impressive accuracy, affordability and easy maintenance.
