Turkey just announced their intention to join the BRICS economic bloc. The BRICS group of nations includes Russia, China, and Iran. This will no doubt complicate Turkey's relationship with the United States and Western Europe, and investors and business executives who work in or with Turkey will face difficult questions in coming months.
