Oh what a session. Very important session for all the believers especially this season. Jesus said if you can believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23). He also noted in John 14:12 that the works that He did, shall we do also. And greater works shall we do because he goes unto the Father. Let us understand that the works He did becomes a benchmark or baseline and we can do greater. He is not worried whether we will outdo Him. If we agree that the statement is true because it is coming from the Lord himself, then what he did becomes our starting point. I went through some list to get us thinking. He turned water to wine, healed the sick, walked on water, prophesied to Nathaniel, raised the dead, calmed the stormy water, commanded the legion to leave a man bound, made the blind to see, made the lame to walk, never fell sick, cursed the unproductive fig tree to whither, escaped a multitude that attempted His life, returned the ear of the soldier cut off by Peter, brought money from the mouth of the fish, fed 5000 men with 5 loaves and two fishes. And I gave some examples of how he did some of the miracles and I identified how thanksgiving before seeing or acting is very important. I said thanksgiving before seeing is an expression of Faith.
