Long ago back in 2003 I was tasked with the opportunity to Shoot the war in Iraq.
The Allied Forces mission was to "Facilitate Regime Collapse" and restore freedom to the Iraqi People.
That war would become Operation Iraqi Freedom, lasting for almost 9 years, and coincide with the war in Afghanistan, the longest war in U.S. history.

I was a Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Marine Corps, my job was as a Combat Camera officer tasked by the Commandant to "Shoot the War".
Making my way down the chain of command to determine the Best place to be to accomplish that mission.
It was my choice, so I decided that the Lead Ground Combat Element in the middle of the fighting would be the most logical place to tell the Marine Corps story from the ground.
That decision Brought me to Delta Co, 1st Tank Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 7, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force.

I was introduced to then Capt. Greg Poland, Commanding Officer of Delta Co, 1st Tanks.
This provided me a way to be close to the Fighting with Tanks, Infantry from Lima Co 3/4 and Charlie Co Combat engineers...
A Vantage point of the war that would prove to become Historic, as you will see.

This will become the foundation of a Podcast/Documentary series that talks with some of the Marines from these Units.
To hear their stories, and see where they are now, and what God is doing in their lives since coming home from the battlefield...
