21 “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!

You know guys, I found this morning scripture rather intriguing, but it also got me to thinking of quite a few other passages of scripture in regards to pride, arrogance, and as these verses above state. Those who seek to lay up treasure for themselves in this world, but not toward god. Those who seek to garner all the power, wealth, fame, and attention they can get, but they leave God out. When I was reading this passage of scripture about Shebna this morning, I immediately thought about the rich fool in Luke 12:16-21, and saw how very similar the two were.
I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional, especially this first one, really struck a chord in my heart, and I’d like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge your heart through them.

What does your life say about who you're serving?

How do you want to be remembered?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from His Word, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will open your eyes to see the importance of making sure that you're realizing that what matters isn't how much you have, or who you know, but WHO you serve. That you are laying up your treasure in heaven, that you are seeking God and not this world. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn the story of a foolish, arrogant man, who wanted to have it all, but lost it! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to challenge you to really think about not just this morning scripture, but also the parable of the rich fool, and ask yourself, “Who is it that I'm serving?” Is it Christ, or the world? I really pray that it's Christ Jesus that you're serving, and that you want to be remembered as someone who truly followed Jesus and everything that you say and do. I pray that you don't miss the point like Shebna did, in that it's not about questions, notoriety, or where you're buried, but as to whether or not you knew Christ. That you live your life focused on the vertical, living with honor and integrity for Christ Jesus, so this lost world out there sees someone who truly loved and served the Lord, and lived with honor and integrity for Him. Don't be a Rich fool like Shebna!

UNTIL WEDNESDAY:

HAVE A BLESSED AND TRANQUIL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
