The air show marking the 430th Anniversary of the City of Surgut involved six Su-35S multi-purpose fighter jets with a thrust-vectoring module.

During the air show, Russian pilots demonstrated the most spectacular elements of individual and group aerobatics, demonstrating the super-manoeuvred characteristics of modern fighter jets, to include 'synchronised barrel rolls', 'group barrel roll', 'mirror', 'synchronised tailslide', and 'inflight break up'.
