Smart Monkey Steals Bottle Of Tea And Opens It For A Drink

Monkeys are very intelligent creatures and capable of doing many smart things that as humans we always act surprised. But we know that they are smart. The one in this video, he has stolen someone’s bottle of tea. It might be soda, but to ours it looks like a bottle of tea. We also admit to not knowing what language is on the bottle. Though, we think it might be Chinese with, apparently, Superman on the bottle. Maybe it’s advertising the super feeling you get from this drink and why the monkey stole it in the first place. Everybody likes Superman.

We also couldn’t tell what kind of monkey this was. Our biggest guess is that this monkey is a stump-tailed macaque and a bear macaque. They have pretty decent range that mostly covers in South East China with some northern areas of Vietnam, Laos and Burma. They are kind of cool monkeys too. When bear macaques are born have totally white fur that gets darker as they mature. They also have bright pink or red faces that turn to brown or black as they age.

We did not know this but despite their forest habitat, stump-tailed macaques are not very good at being agile in trees. They actually travel mostly on the ground using their feet and paws. This does not mean that they do not climb. They do and are known to climb trees to find shelter and food. They mostly live in tropical broadleaf evergreen forests. Strangely, a population of bear macaques was introduced to uninhabited islands in Lake Catemaco, Veracruz, Mexico. Apparently, most information about these monkeys actually comes from long-term studies of that Mexican population of bear macaques. The more you know as the ad says.
