As for repentance, the "5 paths" are okay, but one needs a relationship. This means following Messiah's example, living the "Torah" / God's Law. A desire to serve, out of genuine love and reverent respect. First, you must face the guilt of your past sins and reject sinful ways. As for baptism, the water "mikvah" is symbolic and should be done, as it shows public commitment and, perhaps, sets an inspirational leading example. It should be done by full immersionm whenever possible. Certainly not drops of water upon an innocent baby's head, by only by personal choice and full awareness. Baptism by the Spirit is more important. Then comes a lifestyle that includes willful prayer, study and meditation.

The most important matter, concerning the Sacred Scriptures, or "Holy Bible", it to know that translations mean mistakes in interpretation. (The are errors, some wickedly purposeful.) However, once you take each subject and compare all verses that relate to it, you still can and will gain an accurate and true understanding of Yah's ("God", the Creator) doctrines and directives, regardless of which version you read. ( Utilize more than one or two. )
