Heavy hail destroyed part of the fuselage and cabin windows of an Austrian Airlines A320 flight from Palma de Mallorca, Spain to Vienna, Austria on Sunday (June 9, 2024).
The plane encountered the storm while approaching Vienna's Schwechat Airport, but the bad weather was not visible on the weather radar. The plane managed to land safely, no injuries were reported.
