Government Imposed Hate Crimes!

Hate crimes are on the rise according to government statistics. Anytime you turn on the news you will see stories.
What about hate crimes that were committed under your nose, and maybe even with your encouragement? What if it’s the lawmakers who are committing the hate crime? Isn't selective justice based on a personal characteristic or personal choice; inherently a hate crime?
