Would you let an elephant give you a massage? If you do, then Safari World in Thailand is the right destination for you. A number of Asian elephants - that can weigh anywhere up to 5.5 tonnes, administer the crazy massage using their trunks and feet. But the unusual relaxation technique isn't for the faint-hearted. This type of massage is a little more challenging purely thanks to the animals sheer size and power. The service involves a customer lying on their front while an elephant, led by a human trainer, pummels their back with their trunk and feet.

These talented elephants perform some funny tricks for everyone in attendance. So incredible! Tourists are seen lying on the ground with a towel over their midriff. The giant Asian elephant is then led up to the tourists by a mahout, before gently patting them to replicate the techniques used by masseurs. The elephants slap at tourists’ backs with their trunks and pat them down with their feet.

The elephants are indeed clever creatures and they listen to instructions well. Their memory can span many years. They can also display signs of grief, joy, anger and play. There are indeed many the heart-stopping moments in the video while the elephants massage the volunteers with their feet lightly and walk over them.

Videos of elephant massages have been around for several years, and media outlets have touted the experience as a fun vacation activity. And if you are brave enough, it is one for the bucket list.
