October 7th and the Occupation of Canadian Universities - Message by Rabbi Jack Zimmerman

October 7, 2023 is a day that shocked the world as Hamas breached the security wall between Gaza and Israel and went on a murderous rampage killing over 1200 unarmed, innocent civilians and kidnapping over 200 men, women and children.

At first Israel's allies around the world supported their military response and right to defend itself from this barbaric attack. However, within a very short period of time the support began to shift and leaders of nations began to turn their back on Israel and the media commenced a misinformation campaign to intentionally demonize Israel. As a result the rise of anti-Semitism around the world rose over 400%. Streets in Europe, the UK, and North America were flooded with pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas demonstrators who were lying in wait in sleeper cells. Things escalated rapidly and the University and college campuses were also invaded and occupied by radical activists, including faculty, who recruited students and set up encampments, making pro-terrorist and anti-Israel demands.

How did this happen? How does this even make sense? What rationale is this based on?

Rabbi Jack Zimmerman recently spoke in Calgary addressing the misinformation and providing facts on the history of Israel, so-called Palestine, Palestinians, Hamas propaganda, Gazan deaths, food supply, the two-state solution, occupiers, genocide, apartheid and so much more.

Rabbi Jack Zimmerman was born and raised in Brooklyn in a Jewish home. He earned his BA in Radio-TV broadcasting and journalism from Brooklyn College and worked for years in radio and TV. In 1987, his Jewish mother introduced him to Sandie. She turned out to be a practicing Christian and showed Jack Messianic prophecies in his Jewish Bible that described Yeshua. After wrestling with the gospel, Jack finally embraced Yeshua as his Messiah in 1988. The Zimmermans moved to Phoenix and founded Tree of Life Congregation in 2000. Jack, a stand-up comedian, is an ordained rabbi through the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America and also ordained through the Church of the Nazarene. He serves as the staff evangelist for Jewish Voice Ministries International for whom he speaks in churches and at conferences worldwide.

In this week’s special report Tanya provides information to counter the rising anti-semitism that is being fuelled by carefully crafted messaging coming from the United Nations and NGO’s who are funding a strategic misinformation war against Israel. The media is the propaganda arm relaying their anti-Israel rhetoric to the world and it is critical to counter that information with facts.

Peace in the middle east is an oxymoron. Islam = a violent political system. Yet people are choosing to ignore what is going on in the 56 Islamic countries surrounding Israel. Christians and non-muslims are being brutally persecuted since the creation of Islam and yet those lives and cries for help are completely ignored. This begs the question: Why is Trudeau hyper-focused on the Palestinians? Why has he ignored the desperate cries of the persecuted Christians throughout Islam. What is he getting in return?

Supporting Israel does not mean supporting Netanyahu whose actions, or lack thereof regarding the border breach, have come under rightful scrutiny. Consider if the events of October 7th took place in Canada and it was Canadian citizens who were barbarically slaughtered and taken hostage, in the hundreds. We would expect that our allies would not only support Canada but also assist us in defending our borders, eliminating the threat and doing whatever was necessary to get our loved ones back. Support for Canada would not however mean that they support a treasonous dictator like Trudeau.

Israel as a nation has a right to exist and the people of Israel have a right to expect protection and the return of their family members who are being held hostage. If Israel goes down the West is next. We are already experiencing mass Islamic infiltration and the increasing support given to the Palestinians only emboldens them. They are bullying and threatening government officials, universities, school boards, businesses and citizens. They are making anti-Canadian demands and bringing hate and violence to our streets.
