Tonight saw huge change in the European Union (EU) has rightwing, nationalist, and anti globalist parties won elections in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Austria, and Luxemburg. Notable victories include a dominant election victory of Marine Le Pen's National Rally Party over Emmanuel Macron, which led to Macron dissolving the National Assembly and calling for new legislative elections in France. Others saw Germany's rightwing AFD Party take a historic margin in the German Parliament, as well as leftist Belgian Prime Minister Alex De Croo resigning after losing massively to rightwing nationalists in the Belgian Election. This comes as Europeans remain angry about immigration, mass migration, and the ongoing migrant crisis in European countries.
