Florida beachgoers warned of shark dangers after 3 attacks in day

Authorities are cautioning swimmers along Florida’s Gulf Coast after two shark attacks injured three people on Friday at neighboring beaches.

The first incident involved a 45-year-old woman who was critically injured near WaterSound Beach, resulting in the amputation of part of her arm.

Shortly after, two teenage girls were attacked while wading at Seacrest Beach, one sustaining severe injuries to her upper leg and hand, and the other minor foot injuries.

Several beaches were temporarily closed but reopened Saturday with warning flags for hazardous conditions. Experts note the rarity of such incidents, especially two in one day, the Daily Express reported.
