The roaring, devouring demons: loving the sin and hating the sinner- III Sunday After Pentecost 2024

As we entire into the time "after Pentecost" we are reminded by the Holy Scripture provided for this Mass about the neccesity of proper humilty in the spiritual life and using it as a template to fight the constancy of temptation from the demonic. Fr. Stanislaus explains how St. Peter gave us this template in his First Epistle and then how Our Lord rightly points out in the parables how we tend to love the things in the world while forgetting the need for penance and forgivness so as to attain Eternal Life in Heaven and not slip into Hell.
