‘People Can’t Put Food on the Table’: Chabria on Biden’s Policies Impacting 2024 Election

Scott: “Let me put up some of the numbers where former President Trump is leading outside the margin of error in Arizona being Biden 51 — 46. Fifty to 45 Nevada and the Virginia number was talked about, they are tied in Virginia gate — 48. When you go back four years ago and look at the Virginia outcome when they were running against one another, President Biden traveled him by 10 points. All of a sudden, it’s a dead heat in Virginia. What explains that?”
CHABRIA: “I think it’s a couple of things and you are right to point this out, Jon. Virginia is a state that has been trending blue and certainly, Republicans can take it every now and then but it’s a state with D.C. suburbs, it’s trending blue. What’s accounting for is a couple of things, one is people are really struggling in this country, it’s not just to say, you can’t play it by numbers, there is inflation, people can’t put food on the table and that is a direct result of the Biden White House policies. So that is the first thing. The second thing is, Democrats have way overplayed their hand both on the woke ideology but also on this trial they have in New York. People don’t buy it and they start to turn away from the current president. There’s one more factor, “Wall Street Journal” wrote a piece last week and a lot of your viewers are aware of Biden has had when he walks around and this skating article points to it and regular folks are starting to see it now too, how out of touch he is it is a big problem.”
