In stands to note that the New York Times started the "6 Million Jews" died in WWII trope by publishing and republishing that number over and over in their newspaper without any official figures to back it up. This constant repetition baked that number in the minds of readers, and is repeated to this very day as an undeniable fact. In 18 countries in Europe, it is a crime to deny or challenge this figure. The Holocaust is the only 'genocide' that is a crime to deny by the way. 🙄
