This was the start of my afternoon in London - and first interactions with police...Owing to physical issues, I couldn't do the walk from Victoria train station to Parliament Square, (as I saw that they were being taken a 'long way round', instead of the more direct route), and had misjudged the timing of the 'muster' to 'departure' by about one hour!
Normally, I'd have wanted to join the crowd, but I had misjudged it all! My decision to take the underground backfired badly, as upon my arrival at Westminster, I walked out and was met with barricades!! Arghhhhhh
