Many people have no idea about the cycle of corruption that has been happening between California utility company PG&E and some of the politicians in that state.

A fire starts because PG&E was cheap and negligent. People die, the company is convicted of felonies. PG&E donates to its favorite politicians like Newsom. He and the others involved get legislation passed to protect and bail out PG&E.

PG&E then claims it has no cash to pay victims of the fires they start but continues to donate cash to its favorite politicians.

Newsom even brokered a deal that allowed PG&E to pay some victims in company stock. Newsom then used the pretense of "helping the victims" to get a massive bailout passed for PG&E. And then Californians pay the price on their electric bills.

Here's the best part. Gavin Newsom gets to go on TV and complain to the nation about climate change starting all these fires in California.
