I've had complaints from guy's because of my gaming set-up. I didn't spend that much on it. Yet their women complain about how it is such a waste of money. Their significant others tell them that I need to grow up and I'm lucky how my wife handles it and that she's ok with it. She told her friends and family point blank, that I drink 1 beer every other week, don't smoke, gamble or do drugs. That the bills are paid and I help around the house. Why on earth would women complain about this one thing now? Basically me gaming to unwind after work. She says she likes watching the RPG I play and will ask stuff about the storyline if she missed something. During our first date, I saw a figure of a transformer I wanted. I said how much I would gotten in if she was not there. She even knew the difference between an Auto-bot and a Decepticon. This was before the Michael Bay movies. Thats when I knew I wanted to be with her. I came home one day and she said not to expect a birthday present because she got me “this” today. It was a box of a sold out console. She got it for me because according to her I'm always doing so much for her. My birthday was still 2 months away. She even played minecraft years later just see what our son was on about. She was so old school that she denies she's the one that likes all of this. She has game series she likes and owns 15 different games and still looking for the 16th, But she's not a gamer according to her. We have a time table who gets to play when. For real, I saw her arguing with our kid because it was her turn. A while back she showed me videos of women talking about how a handbag is an investment, but I don't relay get how. Men don't really fake their hobbies or interests or necessities as investments. I have known guys that are able to turn them into an investment. My uncle who collects coins and baseball cards. Since we don't really need it, it is expected that our hobbies have to make room for other necessities. Like to hear what you think. Thanks again. Well Bob thanks for the donation and topic. The thing about women that support a man's hobbies like gaming is that you never know if they a just supporting us because they actually like gaming of if they are just doing it to be the female Chameleon. Call me paranoid but how do you know your partner didn't just research the transformers before going out on that first date with you before the film came out almost twenty years ago now. Telling me you made your relationship decision based on a common interest like decepticons is crazy. How do you know she's not a decepticon chameleon in disguise. In the early to mid 2000s I think you're pretty safe.
