PT14 $500 Fiero GT. $74 Turbo Can Paint job. Is it really worth saving hundreds?

$74 for 6 cans of paint, tape, masking paper pre-taped, 2 cans sandable primer, sand paper and cleaning wipes.. Total was about $170. Links below of supplies
Sanded, bondo a few cracks and nicks, taped, wiped down and Spray! Is it worth saving a few hundred on supplies? I suppose if you do not own an air compressor and want a quick cheap paint job
