Dan Papirany ITRIO and Brett Loretz – Groove Evolution

Here is a composition and arrangement by Brett Loretz titled “Groove Evolution”. It is a composition written in several parts with the main theme which is 32 bars in AABA at the end. The arrangement is written in such a way that it’s progressing to the conclusion, and it is featuring different grooves and interludes leading to the final theme. It is a project that Brett and I talked about and finally got to do it, it was inspired by the collaboration between musicians during Covid. In this clip I collaborate with Brett Loretz and with myself and play all instruments except the Trumpet which is played by Brett. I used the “BARS” studio equipment to record and video one part at the time. Brett used his own location and gear for recording / video himself. The result is a one-person trio format I call ITRIO + Brett. The song is part of an album which can be downloaded at Spotify and Apple Music among others.
