Mower Blade Sharpening and Balancing With a Couple Cool Tools

Welcome to Hack The Honey Do List! In this video, I'll be showing you the step-by-step process of sharpening your lawnmower more blades correctly. If you've watched my previous video on setting up a blade sharpener, you might have noticed that I was sharpening at the wrong angle. Thanks to a helpful viewer, I realized my mistake and now I'm here to rectify it.

Firstly, we'll start by mounting the sharpening jig properly. Pay close attention as I guide you through each detail. Once mounted, we'll proceed with sharpening one of those blades together. It's essential to understand the correct angles for your blades and ensure they are facing upwards with the guide arm on your right side. Don't forget to balance those blades as well, I show this at the end of the video.

I've come up with an ingenious solution for easy setup without permanently mounting it on my workbench. By attaching a board that hangs off my bench and bolting the bracket onto it, I can conveniently remove it when not in use. Alternatively, if you prefer a different approach, you can also mount the sharpening jig in a vice for added flexibility.

Once everything is set up according to your desired height, simply insert your blade into position and get ready to use your grinder effectively. Stay tuned as we dive into all these details during our demonstration.
