Harnwell: EU Elections exit poll indicates Dutch anti-Islam Geert Wilders obtains 7-fold increase!

VIDEO SYNTHESIS / We’ll need to wait for the actual elections results — but it appears Geert Wilders’s Freedom Party will see its number of European Parliament MPs jump from 1 to 7. Which would be fantastic.

What is most interesting about this result is that it appears the Dutch are abandoning their traditional mainstream centre-left and centre-right parties in favour of more radical — and previously “socially unacceptable” — alternatives.

This would affirm the WarRoom’s analysis not only that the “centre ground” has failed electorally — but that it no longer has the power to dictate to the nation the terms of debate.
