In this video, we discussed the key players in import supply chain risk management, with a focus on ISF agents and customs brokers. ISF agents are responsible for gathering and submitting import information required by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) before imports arrive at the port of entry. They work closely with importers to ensure accurate and timely filing of the Importer Security Filing (ISF). This filing is crucial in complying with the 10+2 rule, which mandates the submission of 10 data elements from the importer and 2 data elements from the carrier.
