And now for something completely different...

...well, not entirely unrelated: the "little animals" indoors - it's like a petting zoo in here. These are mostly "livebearer" freshwater fish (my favorite - they are cute, and little, and low maintenance: they tolerate a wide range of water parameters, you can get away with throwing them in tap water and they'll survive). There is a betta living with them now (predatory fish, but ok living in a community tank as long as there are no other betta fish around) some nervous neon tetras, neocaridina shrimp in every color I could find, and a couple bronze cory cats (should be three, but they are hard to spot all at once in the lush vegetation, so I can't be sure). The plants are live as well, no fakes for me - why bother with fake plastic plants when you can have the real deal? They are so much more rewarding to have, even if a little harder to keep up with - some of them grow pretty fast.
