Men's Health and Nutrition: An Exclusive with Ken Berry, MD

Do you know what the determining factor is for whether you live a long, healthy, and fruitful life… or a short and disease-ridden life?

You guessed it: Nutrition—my pet subject.

A large portion of people’s ill health can be directly attributed to their poor dietary choices, lack of sufficient hydration, and unwillingness to make changes for the better.

Who would blame them? Why lend an ear to the contrarian voice of craziness when the shrewd experts are telling you that disease, weakness, and lowered testosterone are inevitable? (When they’re in fact not.)

You see, it’s easier just to hand over your sovereignty and let “Mommy Medicine” take care of your health problems. No need to frequent the labels on your groceries. No need to spend any time educating yourself. Ignore the quirks; Mommy dearest knows best! (Until the consequences bring about your ultimate demise...)

But, as luck would have it, many brave doctors are leaving the allopathic model high and dry—realizing that you don’t need to pop a single pill to keep your body clean and healthy when you heed the gravity of proper nutrition.

Dr. Ken Berry is a plain example of such a courageous doctor.

On his quest to discover man’s befitting diet, Dr. Berry has reached millions with his brilliant insights on ketogenic and carnivorous diets, intermittent fasting, and hormone optimization.

Utilizing his dietary savvy, he devised the BBBE (Beef, Butter, Bacon and Eggs) diet, which has relieved many people from not just chronic physical conditions, but severe mental disorders; thereby earning its place as a staple element in my protocols.

I had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Berry on our very own Healthy Living Interviews series, as we weighed the risks of consuming a high-carb diet and its causal link to mounting epidemics of hyperinsulinemia, diabetes, and obesity.

We also made reference to the collapse of the medical empire, exchanged views on the rising popularity of the Terrain model of ill health, and dwelled upon the specter of men’s declining fertility (for which Dr. Berry posited an interesting thesis).

I hope you find this as eye-opening as I did!
