These guys have been hanging around the house waiting to be shorn for too long, so they were in a real big rush to get to new pastures immediately. I like to say they suffer from "cobbler's children syndrome" - I have a hard time telling other people they need to wait, but eventually I have to put my little moccasin-wearing foot down and say "mine need to be done now, you can wait". There are still a few big rams left to get done (and the last two wily ewes...), but they don't mind being patient because they know I always get to them eventually. A good shepherd is always reliable (and yes, the dog is hardheaded, but she means well - you just have to use the right tone to break through her single-minded focus once she gets stuck on stock).
