If one is not careful, even for those that believe in the Bible, there could be a tendency to think that all there is to life is in this world. Understandibly as that's what we've grown up with and known as reality. What you understand the Bible to say will have a great impact on your life depending on how much you understand or believe it.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't enjoy life btw but if you're not primarily investing in Yah's/God's Kingdom then you are only investing in your short-term self.
