Critical Thinking vs. Shariah Part 55 Safa and Marwa

The Sutliffian Report applies #CriticalThinking to #Shariah asking important questions. This time the topic is #Safa and #Marwa and their inclusion in the hajj and how this is considered part of the hajj (pilgrimage). BUT, this is built upon a disjointed verse in the Quran, that is testified to in the hadiths. A simple reading of 2:158 and the verses before and after show it does not belong and appears to have been randomly placed. WORSE! This verse states that taking part in this action is not sinful. Meaning that this was and is a pagan thing. What does shariah say about this? On to Arafa. Why is this so important'?
