Major Floods And Landslides In Sri Lanka

In Sri Lanka, floods and landslides caused by heavy rainfall have killed 16 people. This was reported by the Associated Press, citing local authorities.
12 people died in floods near the capital Colombo, as well as in Ratnapura, Matara and Galle. Four more people died after landslides hit their homes.
More than six thousand people were evacuated to temporary accommodation centers. More than 12 thousand houses were damaged or destroyed. The Republican Ministry of Education canceled all classes in schools. The army and navy got involved in clearing the wreckage and searching for victims.

Climate is changing due to 12,000 year cycle.
