LCSO investigate robbery at Racetrac in Bonita Springs
Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a man after he allegedly robbed a gas station in Bonita Springs, Sunday. It happened at the RaceTrac gas station on 10801 Furlong St, according to LCSO. The store clerk advised that a man, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, entered the store and threatened to shoot everyone if the clerk did not give him money. The clerk complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. An additional witness observed the suspect fleeing from the store in a white Cadillac and reported the tag number. Deputies swarmed the area of Elaine Drive and Terry Street and witnessed the suspect running into a home. He eventually exited and was identified as 26-year-old Corey Williams. He was arrested and face Robbery charges.
