Wether wrestling

This is the big Lincoln Longwool boy from the "tease" video I posted the other day...TeeTee. He is a wether, which is just the technical term for a castrated ram. Wethers usually get as big or bigger than intact rams, but they are usually a little more docile and people mostly keep them as pets or companions for other animals. Usually, sheep are either big, or they have a lot of fight in them: not both. The Lincolns are one of the exceptions and they are both big and will still put up a fair amount of fight - I think they have very ticklish bellies and legs, all the wool down them doesn't help because then I have to run the whole length of them and the further extended you are, the less control you have on them. It helps if you have a good sense of feel for the animal and can anticipate his moves somewhat (or at least react to them with instinctual reflexes almost immediately...), so he doesn't throw you off balance and get away - that is easy to do when the weight/size ratio is so far out of my favor, it makes the technique and positioning that much more important ;) He is so big, he has his head draped over my back at a few points, like a pony or something.
