Why This is The Best City in Nicaragua For Group Tours

Today we are going to answer a viewer question about bring a group to visit Nicaragua.

Viewer Question: Hey Scott, I'm organizing a community of 6 families who are traveling with a teacher in Central and South America next school year. I'm trying to pick our best base in Nicaragua. We would be staying for 7 weeks. Our top priorities are safety, access to wifi/groceries/local restaurants, a good local culture for our school to tap into (cooking classes, soccer games on the beach, etc), and easy access to the outdoors for afternoons surfing (beginner-intermediate waves) and hopefully easy access to the jungle/volcanoes, etc. We will have cars. We would need 7 apartments or houses for under $1500 a month, but they all have to be somewhat close to each other. Any suggestions you have would be welcome! We are also considering 7 weeks in either Guatamala (Lake Atalan) or Boquete, Panama, if you're able to weigh in on either of those. The only thing is we have to make a quick decision!
